WRITTEN BY Wendy Krouse ON July 10, 2025

Brian Sabbadini - MPS Board of Education

After conducting interviews during a Special Meeting on June 23rd, the Monroe Public Schools Board of Education appointed Brian Sabbadini as its newest member.

Mr. Sabbadini’s career in professional sales spans 34 years.  Since 2008, he has worked for Rolled Alloys, currently as the Commercial Sales Manager and previously as Director of Business Development and Marketing.  His community involvement includes serving on the personnel committee at Heritage Baptist Church as well as previous chairperson on a pastoral search committee.

Mr. Sabbadini earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.  He is a proud Monroe High School alumnus and also attended Raisinville, Monroe Middle School, and Cantrick.  He and his wife, Holly, an elementary teacher at Adrian Public Schools, are the parents of Allyson, a 2022 MHS graduate.

In his application letter, Mr. Sabbadini stated he was indebted to Monroe Public Schools for the education provided for him to succeed in post-secondary schools as well as his professional career.  “It is a privilege to serve the community in this capacity as I believe public service is the best way to give back,” he stated.

Mr. Sabbadini was sworn into office following his appointment to begin serving immediately.

“I look forward to working with fellow board members, administrators, teachers, and the community as a team to achieve the goals already set forth and goals that will be created in the future," he said.  "Go Trojans!"
