College Parent Night

MHS has invited colleges and universities to join us for Parent Teacher Conferences. We began this tradition in 2005 as part of Parent Link.

Seniors and parents will be able to ask questions from completing applications to scholarships.  The merit scholarships from schools are heavily awarded during the application process so you will want to learn all you can on what the schools you are interested in offer.  If a school is not in attendance, we encourage you to contact them directly to find out this information.  

At the Parent Link meeting, scheduled at 4:00 pm and again at 7:00 pm,  you will have the opportunity to hear how every 9th, 10th and 11th grader will be taking the PSAT on October 28th, 2015 and how you can help prepare your child for it. You will also learn how to maximize the results for Career and College Ready options.  You will then be able to use this information to ask the college reps targeted questions regarding the SAT. 

We have scheduled the monthly Parent Link meeting and College Parent night during conferences to maximize the evening for parents!
