ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION REQUEST 

The alternative transportation form must be completed and submitted yearly. All requests are reviewed within 72 hrs. of receipt at the transportation office.

This form should be completed when a student will be transported to or from an address other than the home address and the student will keep a regular schedule using the alternate transportation location.

The alternative address must be in the school of attendance busing zone.

Filling out the request does not guarantee approval. Your student cannot ride the bus until approval is granted.

Monroe Public School Transportation Department reserves the right to revoke or deny any request should behavior issues arise involving a student and/or overcrowding on the bus occurs. If a request is denied due to bus overcrowding it will be reconsidered every 30 days. 

If your student is school of choice this request will be denied as parents are responsible for transporting their student. 

Please submit completed request into your students school office, as most prefer to retain a copy for their records. If your school office is closed you may submit in person to the administration building or fax transportation at 734-265-3301.
