2017/2018 Freshman Registration at MHS

Thursday, August 24th from 8:00am - 12:00pm

Registration Days are imperative for students to attend. They will take care of necessary paperwork for the year, car passes, ID and yearbook pictures will be taken, schedules will be passed out and guidance counselors available for schedule adjustments.

Busing will be provided. Check the MHS Facebook page and website for more information to be released closer to the actual date.

Due to the arrival of new buses, we have made several changes in bus numbers which will start on Monday, May 1 and will remain in effect through the remainder of the school year.

For the first time ever, all MPS students in grades Y5-8 may apply to participate in the Summer Learning Academy!!! Just like an athlete needs to exercise regularly to stay at the top of his game, so do students! During summer months students need to continue to exercise their brains, to keep the new connections made during the school year!!! The MPS Summer Learning Academy is designed around your child’s interests and academic needs; stretching every child’s reading, writing and math levels. It will be an opportunity for students to get a jump start on the upcoming school year and continue connections with friends over summer months.

• Summer Learning Academy meets from July 10-August 17
• Hours are from 8:15am-12:15pm, Monday—Thursday
• Free Breakfast and Lunch!

Due to the horrible weather conditions predicted for this afternoon (4/6/17), middle school track practice is cancelled.

Attention MMS parents & students: we need a few more pictures to finish our yearbook. If you have any competitive cheer pictures, boys basketball, girls basketball, softball or baseball pictures, we would love it if you would share them with us. Yours might even be chosen to placed in the book! We're looking for fun, candid, and action style pictures.

Attention NJHS members: do you have any pictures of your group? Have any photos that you took during an activity or service hour work? We'd love to include them in our MMS yearbook.

There will be a half-day of school for Monroe Public Schools students on Wednesday, March 22.  Pre-school at Riverside, along with Kids Club at Riverside and Custer, will operate on a regular schedule.
